MAREE MONTFORD A.R.A.D (Solo Seal) RAD RTS
Maree has over 50 years teaching experience commencing in 1954 after completing all the Royal Academy of Dance examinations as a dancer including solo seal.
The Auckland school was established in 1992.
Prior to that schools were in Palmerston Nth, Wanganui and Hastings.

I believe children are encouraged through ballet to achieve to the best of their ability.
Many with minor disabilities have improved their self confidence through the discipline of ballet and these children are equally as important to the school as those more talented.

CARL MYERS A.R.A.D RAD RTS
A former Principal Dancer with the Royal Ballet and teacher at the New Zealand School of Dance.
CARL teaches all of the senior students and is highly respected.

These three young teachers are very committed to the work they do in the Pre-school and Junior classes.

Introduction to Dance – age 3 to 5
Royal Academy of Dance Ballet – from age 5 onwards
Competition training available
Fees on application

Examinations

Examinations are optional but encouraged, these are held at the end of each year.

Performance

A performance is staged bi-annually.
In the alternative years we hold a simple class concert.

Which Program is Suitable for Your Child

Children from 3 to 5 years are introduced to dance with basic movement, and a strong emphasis on musicality and play. From 5 years they begin more ballet steps, and gradually progress through the grades. The students can choose whether they wish to take exam classes. Vocational classes are available for students 11 years onward.
